Transportcoördinator
Job description
Als Transportcoördinator zorg jij ervoor dat alles op wieltjes loopt - letterlijk en figuurlijk. Je organiseert en volgt dagelijks de wegtransporten op van A tot Z. Dankzij jouw oog voor detail en vlotte communicatie verlopen alle transportopdrachten correct, op tijd en zonder verrassingen. Onze klant is een internationale logistieke topspeler gelegen in de Gentse Haven.
Je coördineert transportopdrachten en houdt een strakke planning bij
Je schakelt externe transporteurs in waar nodig en onderhoudt nauwe contacten met deze partners
Je grijpt proactief in als er zich vertragingen of problemen voordoen
Je zorgt voor een correcte administratieve verwerking van opdrachten in het interne systeem
Je stelt documenten en routes op en bezorgt chauffeurs heldere instructies
Je optimaliseert de inzet van middelen om kosten en tijd te besparen
Ervaring in logistiek, bij voorkeur in wegtransport
Je bent communicatief sterk en houdt het hoofd koel in een dynamische omgeving
Je spreekt vlot Nederlands, Frans en Engels - Duits is een extra troef
Je werkt nauwkeurig, denkt in oplossingen en houdt van een gevarieerde werkdag
Je kan goed overweg met digitale tools en leert snel bij
