Our client is a specialist within the automotive sector and is looking for a Technical Customer Support in Tessenderlo. Do you have the right technical and people skills for this challenge?

The responsibilities for this position are:

• You are responsible for assisting wholesalers who want to procure spare parts and choose the right components for them.
• You give advice about alternative spare parts and respond to questions about orders, such as the delivery time.
• You stimulate the wholesalers to purchase more stock and you inform them about the current promotions.
• You visit the dealers or invite them to visit the office in Tessenderlo from time to time.
• You draw up analyses from the data that is collected with the Power BI tool.
• You are free to organize your own planning.

The required qualifications are:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Auto Mechanics, Auto Engineering or Agricultural Mechanization, however it is mostly important that you have a good understanding of the technical side of machines (earthmoving machines, forklifts, agricultural machines).
• You have excellent knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electronics. Moreover, you can read and understand parts drawings.
• You enjoy selling components and can easily get along with new software.
• You are willing to travel abroad to visit the dealers 2 times per quarter for 2 to 3 days.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French or German is a huge plus!
