Description du job For one of our client, an international company active in the transport and logistics sector, we are looking for their new International tender manager. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, your duties will be the following ones:

" To coordinate all overland tender responses.

" To assist the overland sales team in gaining tenders using the design and creation of appropriate tools to support company requests and processes.

" To support the sales team to gain new business and keep existing one

Your responsibilities:


Analyze customer RFI's and RFQ's
Analyze and interpret individual needs of the client according to specifications communicate with relevant internal stakeholders on opportunities
Compile the necessary information
Formalise the responses by preparing appropriate documents
Validate the coherence and the feasibility of commercial offers to clients
Communicate internally on customer feedbacks in order to provide next round offer


Assist and advise the all the internal stakeholders in the production and implementation of the contract


Design and implement activity monitoring and or forecasting tools (reports, statistics and indicators)
Build up departmental know-how and knowledge database on tariffs and solutions
Use extensively company CRM system
Build relationship and maintain close contact with other subsidiaries and tender centers


Support the international sales team on compiling standard and tailored offers for particular niche markets
Support the development of value propositions and customer presentations of solutions
Respond to customer inquiries
Support the Benelux sales team executing sales campaigns

Apply and enforce Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations
Take responsibility for own safety, ensuring work is safe and hazard free
Report all accidents to your superiors, however insignificant they may seem
Work with Management to identity hazards and reduce risks, suggesting any improvement designed to preserve health and safety, quality and environment
Contribute towards improving safety and work environment and safeguards oneself and others

Profil recherché

" You have a previous successful experience as tender / Bid manager and preferably within the transport or logistics services sector
" You are able to visualize development opportunities
" You have capacities in planning, organizing and time management
" Excellent spoken and written communication and negotiation skills (Dutch/ French and English)
" You are a team player
" You understand business operations, resources and technology
" You have excellent listening skills regarding the needs and problems of other parties and able to provide solutions
" You work well under pressure and accept of any unplanned additional workloads
