We are looking for a Sea Logistics LCL forwarding specialist to join our dynamic Sea Logistics Team.

Your Role

The Sea Logistics LCL forwarding specialist is responsible for handling Export bookings. In your role, you support customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, and responding to complaints. Additionally, you coordinate the transport and take care of the administration, making sure that all documents and formalities are fulfilled.

Your Responsibilities

  • Handling all export bookings;
  • Checking sailing schedules;
  • Handling all discharge notes, checking the dimensions, marks & numbers, and informing customers in case of any discrepancy;
  • Planning of export containers;
  • Proceed with the loading list;
  • Keep close contact with the warehouse if all goods & customs documents are delivered in time;
  • Take care of all filings, fumigation & port authorities;
  • Invoicing;

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Logistics / Supply Chain Management;
  • Proven experience in Sea Logistics;
  • Strong knowledge of Freight Forwarding;
  • Advanced knowledge on industry-specific guidelines and adherence to regulatory requirements;
  • Ability to communicate persuasively whilst demonstrating adaptability and empathy;
  • Problem-Solving and able to work under pressure;
  • Languages: Native Dutch and very good verbal and written knowledge of English.
