Maersk Willebroek is searching for a Warehouse Process & System Specialist.

Key responsibilities

Act as system SUPER USER to provide 1st line support for warehouse operation (20%)
- General ad hoc support for all warehouse operations. This can be issues with scanning devices, warehouse management system, data flow's from and to the customers, reporting tools, etc.
- Provide users proper process instructions, training and share best practices
- Creating and maintaining tools to support and improve the warehouse and customer service activities, mainly within excel (for example inbound and outbound dock and slot management, employee planning, etc.)

Lead local business projects (80%)
- Continuous improvement Projects & Process improvement. Changing working procedures in the warehouse to accommodate rising volumes, , updating zoning, picking and put away strategies based on actual trends. It is crucial to be a good translator between warehouse issue’s/needs and system requirements and possibilities.
- Setting up EDI messages inbound and outbound (the XML mapping and setup to and from the local database). Prepare and test integration projects together with our customers.
- Creating new reports based on SQL query’s, maintaining the master data and doing specific analysis for the management
- Setup new processes and new customer implementation. Setting up the data flow in the WMS and setting up reporting tools, labels.
- Good knowledge of actual innovation trends in warehouse environments.
- Propose and implement new technologies to increase warehouse performance and quality.

Required skills:
• Advanced Microsoft Excel user
• Native Dutch speaker and English language skills, spoken and written
• Analytical thinking on an advanced level
• First experience in a similar function is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse operation
• University degree or equal by experience.
• Ease in working with systems
• SQL knowledge is a strong plus
