Your responsibilities for this position are:

• You are responsible for the inspection of incoming goods, which are further used in sound and vibration dampening solutions, steel pieces, springs, elastomers, and other goods.
• You conduct inspections using measuring equipment such as calipers, hardness testers, static and dynamic presses, and tensile testers.
• You evaluate the incoming goods according to known standards (drawings and technical specifications).
• You report your findings to the Test Engineer and Technical Director.
• You take care of the preparation and follow-up of supplier complaints, and you communicate with the internal purchasing department.

The required qualifications are:

• You have a diploma in higher education, preferably in a technical direction.
• You can interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• You are accurate, can plan well, open minded, and have an eye for innovation.
• You have good knowledge of MS Office and software to correctly manage goods flows in ERP.
• You are driven by technical aspects and can work in a loud environment.
• You are very fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch and French are a plus!
