Our client is a specialist within the automotive sector and is looking for a Technical Procurement Specialist in Tessenderlo. Do you have the right technical and people skills for this challenge?

The responsibilities for this position are:

• You are responsible for following up existing and new suppliers, to deal with new products as efficiently as possible.
• You follow up on all the existing open orders and undertake action when the expired due date has been reached.
• You are responsible for following up on stock disruptions and creating a strategy to source new items along with inventory planning.
• You analyze various topics such as parts manuals, parts bulletins, service bulletins, specify the required parts and source new suppliers.
• You are in emergency situations responsible for ongoing alternative sources to identify and report deviations and damage to the suppliers.
   

The required qualifications are:

• You have a background in a technical direction, or have relevant experience in technical procurement, forecasting or planning.
• You have a good knowledge of Excel features, such as pivot tables and V-lookup.
• You are proactive, have a sense of responsibility, can keep a good overview, and see the bigger picture.
• You are not afraid take initiative, have good communication skills and can work independently as well as in a team.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
