Dispatcher

Job description

Als dispatcher werk je nauw samen met de transportplanner en beschik je over een goed inzicht in zowel je eigen functie als die van de planning. Je bent in staat om snel te schakelen bij wijzigingen en denkt proactief mee om logistieke processen te optimaliseren.

War ga jij doen?

• Coördineren en opvolgen van transportopdrachten op dagelijkse basis
• Aansturen en ondersteunen van chauffeurs tijdens hun ritten
• Communiceren met klanten over leveringen, vertragingen en wijzigingen
• Samenwerken met de transportplanner om een efficiënte planning te garanderen
• Snel inspelen op onverwachte situaties zoals vertragingen, technische problemen of wijzigingen in de planning
• Controleren van transportdocumenten en administratieve opvolging
• Zorgen voor naleving van wet- en regelgeving binnen de transportsector (rij- en rusttijden, etc.)
• Continu zoeken naar optimalisaties in routes en werkprocessen

Wie ben jij?

• Enkele jaren ervaring als dispatcher, transportplanner of in een gelijkaardige functie binnen hetzelfde bedrijf of sector.
• Sterk organisatorisch inzicht en probleemoplossend vermogen.
• Goede kennis van transportprocessen en logistieke flows.
• Stressbestendig en in staat om prioriteiten te stellen.
• Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden.
• Flexibel en hands-on ingesteld.
• Goede kennis van relevante software en planningssystemen.
• Talenkennis: Zeer goed Nederlands en Engels, Frans is een plus.
