The processing of your data also complies with the transposition law of July 30, 2018, concerning the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to delineate how we handle the data gathered from Users and Members via the website https://www.tlhub.be (hereinafter the 'TL Hub Platform' or the 'Platform') while clearly outlining the boundaries of data processing in accordance with prevailing regulations.

Hence, we pledge to uphold the rights and responsibilities stemming from legal provisions by offering a transparent explanation of our data collection processes.

 

The conditions below apply to both candidates and employers, referred to as users or members depending on whether they are registered or not.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the TL Hub team serves as the Data Controller.

CONSTENT

We value your consent to the use of your data. Therefore, each time you access the TL Hub Platform, you grant your consent by checking the corresponding checkbox in this Privacy Policy. By doing so, you acknowledge and provide your informed, specific, and unambiguous consent to the processing of your personal data.

Your consent encompasses the entirety of this Privacy Policy.

DATA PROCESSING

The processing and collection of your data may vary depending on your interactions with the TL Hub Platform or the nature of your relationship with us as a User or Member.

Consequently, to deliver a high-quality service and ensure the smooth execution of our offerings, we collect information when you 1. visit the TL Hub Platform, 2.apply for a job on the Platform, 3. contact us (including via social media), 4. engage with TL Hub through other means.

This information includes your first and last name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and pertinent work experience.

However, in compliance with Article 9 of the Regulation, we do not, under any circumstances, collect or process so-called 'sensitive' data, such as information related to an individual's national register or special categories of data, including data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, data regarding health, or data regarding a person's sex life or sexual orientation.

To enhance the user experience and improve the usability of the TL Hub Platform, we also collect purely technical data of a personal nature. This data encompasses IP addresses or domain names of the computers utilized by Users or Members of the TL Hub Platform, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses, request times, request submission methods to the server, response file sizes, numerical codes indicating server response statuses (successful, error, etc.), country of origin, browser characteristics, operating system details, duration of visits (e.g., time spent on each page in the Application), and navigation paths on the TL Hub Platform, with particular reference to the sequence of visited pages, along with other parameters relating to the user's operating system or computing environment.

LEGAL BASIS OF DATA COLLECTION & RETENTION PERIOD

At TL Hub, we are committed to the responsible use of your personal data. We will only employ your data for specific purposes (legal obligations, communication, etc.) or other purposes for which we have obtained your consent. For example:

1. When you utilize our services as a User or Member, we may also process your personal data when you upload content to the Platform, submit a job application, or contact one of our staff members for informational purposes.

  • Contact you regarding our services or upcoming events or provide/request relevant information (legitimate interest);
  • Conduct canvassing activities by the Data Controller or a third party under contract (legitimate interest);

3. For our legitimate interests. Your data may also be processed to serve our legitimate interests while ensuring the preservation of your fundamental rights;

4. To comply with the law. This includes adhering to prevailing legal provisions or fulfilling obligations imposed by legislation (tax, fraud, etc.).

For each processing operation, only the data relevant to the intended purpose are processed. We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the specified purposes.

To this end, we periodically review whether the data collected still aligns with the aforementioned purposes.
