For the accounting department of a dynamic and international organization in Antwerp, we are looking for a precise, analytical, and driven AP Accountant to strengthen the current team. Our partner, active in the logistics sector, combines local expertise with global scale to serve customers reliably and efficiently. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE:

?    You are responsible for the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and bank statements, as well as preparing payments.
?    You manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable subledgers and ensure that all transactions comply with internal accounting rules and deadlines.
?    You support process improvement initiatives to increase the speed, accuracy, and consistency of accounting operations, including documenting procedures.
?    You work closely with internal commercial teams, Treasury, and colleagues within Accounting to ensure smooth workflows and proactively resolve transactional issues.
?    You contribute to compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and VAT regulations, and support audits when needed.
?    You play an active role in the success of the transactional processing team and encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

?    You hold a Bachelor?s degree in Accountancy / Finance or have equivalent experience.
?    Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in an international or shared services environment.
?    General knowledge of VAT regulations.
?    Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
?    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Power BI is an advantage.
?    Results-oriented, responsible, and accurate.
?    Solution-oriented with a positive mindset.
?    Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
?    Passionate about process improvement and continuous personal and professional development.
