Job description

An international environment in Herentals is looking for a Project Engineer to develop and implement technical solutions within fire protection. You will build expertise in international standards and contribute to global safety standards.
 

Responsibilities:
 

  • You support the development, optimization and management of technical products and solutions.

  • You apply standards, guidelines and certification requirements, and support approval processes.

  • You work closely with customers and translate their needs into technical solutions.

  • You create and modify technical designs in CAD and manage the associated product data.

  • You collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Production and Quality to address technical questions and challenges.

 

Required qualifications:

 

  • Higher education degree in Electromechanics, supplemented with initial work experience.

  • Practical knowledge of 3D CAD and MS Office.

  • Strong motivation and willingness to deepen your knowledge of standards, regulations and certifications.

  • Willingness to travel within Europe and the US.

  • Analytical mindset and ability to critically assess technical data.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a good command of English.
