Operations specialist supply chain & processes offshore Wind Farm – project (4-6 weeks)
Job description
Xtra Harbour Select specialises in the supply chain, customs, shipping and forwarding. As we only work within these business units, we’ve obtained the experience to assist our clients in search of the perfect employee, while prioritising a personal approach!
The overall goal is to manage local site processes for equipment and personnel from site to ship and ensuring company’s supply chain processes are properly executed at site location (Lauwersoog, Holland). Project: Borkom Riffgrund & Gode Wind 03.
• Setting up and maintaining the site office and associated procedures.
• Taking care of the permits, local travel arrangements, accommodation, registration and safety meetings during crew changes. Timely informing relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinating logistics aspects at the project site during execution of the project.
• Processing project requirements (goods, services and resources) into demands and purchase orders.
• Ensuring local stock is at agreed levels.
• Being responsible for local stores, safe (un)loading and dispatching of goods.
• Ensuring compliance with (local) customs and company processes and procedures.
• Ensuring required documentation is timely available for sending and receiving of goods
We'e looking for:
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a maritime project environment
• Experience with logistic processes
• Experience with providing safety inductions and follow up of HSE behaviour
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Average skills in ICT Office application and ERP system
• Follow the instructions and execute the work method by adhering to the relevant SHE-Q procedures as described in WOW. For authorities see authority matrix
