Haesaerts Intermodal is a logistics service specialized in the organization and execution of international synchromodal transports and logistics services for the chemical sector with its own offices in Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Russia, Belarus Russia, Hungary and Ukraine. Haesaerts Intermodal belongs to the Alders Transport Group, a leading and innovative player in the sector that employs about 600 people, has 425 own towing vehicles and about 1500 towed units.

Function content :

We are looking for several driven employees for our transport planning/customer service /internal sales department for the Western and Eastern Europe departments.

As a member of the planning and customer service team, you take care of the transport order administration, assist in the order planning of the transports and maintain contacts with various suppliers of logistics services and with the customers regarding the transport execution. You are a key figure between our customers and your colleagues on planning and administration. You prepare the invoicing to the customers and support internal administration and sales for our transports in Western and Eastern Europe.

Your responsibilities:

  • Contributing to and setting up a high-performance transport planning and administration through a strong numerical preparation of the transports.
  • benchmarking the prices of our transport partners.
  • Preparing the specific administrative documents and invoicing of our Russian and Eastern European customers.
  • Pre-invoicing, preparing self-billing lists and invoicing our intermodal customers
  • Tracking and processing additional costs through our customers' specific applications such as Dow Chemical
  • Preparing the monthly administration for the Russian entity.

Your profile :

For this assignment we think of a driven employee who is attracted to international transport and logistics, with a good basic training, an administratively skilled organizer with an affinity for figures.

Important is your fluent knowledge of the spoken and written Russian language and you have sufficient command of the English and Dutch languages to be able to express yourself professionally. Additional language skills of slavic or German are a plus. 

Basic knowledge and some experience in using MS office and other IT applications are a must.

You have five years of experience in business administration and/or planning or have experience in customer services in relation to Eastern European and FSU countries. You are eager to learn and certainly see a fast growth path.
