Global Key Account Manager

The overall goal is to grow the business, improve the customer experience and increase the loyalty factor of a specific group of IFFs (International Freight Forwarders) & GA (Global Accounts) by building strong relationships and providing a top-notch service.
Functieomschrijving
• Overall result responsibility for a portfolio of IFFs & GAs
• You reach potential and existing customers directly by phone (or other e-sales channels) & face to face meeting to encourage them to buy company’s offers
• Plan and conduct visits and calls in accordance with commercial plan, customer segmentation model and overall trade objectives
• Set sales targets for each customer
• Provide short and long term sales forecasts for portfolio
• Agree upon customer allocation needs and coordinate this with Trade Management
• Follow up on sales leads. Identify the commercial market opportunities and develop new business
• Ensure that each account has competitive rates on file at all times
• Negotiate Tenders
• Identify deltas to improve the collaboration with the customer portfolio
• Open communication and strong interaction with Trade Teams (Head Office/Local) as well as with Sales Support-team
Profiel
• Experienced in shipping and/or forwarding
• Customer focused and result-driven
• Fluent in Dutch and English, French is an asset
• Knowledge of MS Office, CRM (Salesforce)
• Driver’s license preferred
• Good communication skills (oral & written)
• Building relationships
