Your Role
As a Senior Operations Manager at our Contract Logistics site in Beringen, Belgium, you’ll be at the heart of our warehouse operations. You’ll lead a dynamic team, drive operational excellence, and ensure seamless logistics processes. Your mission? What You’ll Be Doing
⦁    Take full ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring performance meets internal and external KPIs (QCDISME).
⦁    Lead and coordinate operational planning, staffing, and problem-solving to maintain high service levels.
⦁    Drive and manage diverse warehouse projects, from onboarding new customers to implementing new workflows.
⦁    Champion continuous improvement through our Kuehne+Nagel Production System (PS), leading initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
⦁    Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
⦁    Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and security standards through audits, safety walks, and data monitoring.
⦁    Develop and execute tactical and operational plans aligned with the site’s strategic goals.
⦁    Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system uptime, plan preventive maintenance, and optimize logistics flows.

What You Bring to the Table
⦁    Master’s degree in logistics, business, or supply chain management, or equivalent experience in retail or FMCG logistic environment.
⦁    Proven track record in a senior warehouse or logistics management role.
⦁    Deep understanding of warehouse operations, lean management, and continuous improvement (DMAIC proficiency).
⦁    Advanced Excel skills and experience with warehouse management systems. 
⦁    Comfortable working in cold environments (around 1-4°C).
⦁    Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire teams and engage with customers.
⦁    Passion for coaching and developing team members.
⦁    Excellent organizational and time management skills, thriving under pressure.
⦁    Fluency in English is essential. Dutch and/or French are nice to have.
